Relive History at the Gilmore Car Museum in Southwest Michigan

Come relive history at the Gilmore Car Museum in Southwest Michigan, North America’s largest auto museum. The Gilmore Car Museum is situated halfway between Detroit and Chicago in Hickory Corners, Michigan, and features a 90-acre historic campus with an incredible collection of almost 400 vintage automobiles, motorcycles, and memories.

The Gilmore Car Museum’s mission is to “tell the history of America through the automobile… ” and that’s exactly what they do. From an old-fashioned gas station and 1941 diner to a recreated dealership row and a 1930’s Rolls Royce from a Disney movie, this blast from the past is a must-see. Here are just a few of the exhibits and features of this delightful trip down memory lane.
