A Pristine & Healthy Setting, As Always

We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and have taken an extra level of sanitary precautions so you can feel at ease during your future stay. The below effective response measures will help us to continue to provide a safe and clean environment for everyone:

  • Our check in process can easily be shared with you via phone from your vehicle, and our Innkeepers can provide a complete concierge service to help guide your visit from start to finish, including dining options both on property and in the surrounding areas.
  • Staff are required to wear masks (regardless of their vaccination status) in all indoor common areas and we recommend that our guests wear a mask in all indoor settings except their guest rooms and in the dining room of the Castle Keep.  All are asked to follow safe social distancing standards at all times while on property.
  • Our staff will be focused on sanitizing, and routinely cleaning all frequently touched surfaces in the public spaces
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available in all public areas
  • Our full, gourmet breakfast will be brought to your guest room or served in our socially distanced dining room depending on current local dining restrictions
  • We’ll provide an additional amenities and fresh towels each day at your request via text.  This eliminates the need for housekeeping to enter your room during your visit while still making sure that you have everything you need to make it a most private and memorable getaway.

Local Restaurants and Dining

Our Innkeepers are always staying up-to-date with all of the best local restaurant’s dining, takeout, and delivery offerings. We’re happy to discuss your dining options during your check-in, or in advance by phone, or email. If you’d like to bring your own food, we have provided refrigerated space for guest use in both buildings of our property, as well as microwaves and dishes & utensils for guest use.  Each of our guest rooms have also been furnished with a table and two chairs suitable for dining in the privacy of your room.

  • Restaurants in Michigan are open and in most cases they do have both indoor and outdoor seating but be sure to follow our Adventure Map suggestions for the best dining experiences in the surrounding area.
  • If you are interested in indoor dining, we strongly recommend that you contact area restaurants to make reservations with as much advance notice as possible; tables can fill up quickly! Give our Innkeepers a call, email, or check out our Adventure Map for an interactive map of our favorites.
  • Take-out and delivery services are still being offered by many area restaurants, and advance notice is not typically required.

Please feel free to call 269-673-8054 or email info@castleinthecountry.com if you have any questions or concerns as we continue to monitor the advice and direction of the CDC and State and local authorities.

Wishing you safety & peace,

Your Innkeepers, Herb & Ruth
