Breakfast

Here at Castle in the Country, we’ve elevated breakfast to celebration status. Served in our dining room, your own individual table for just the two of you is waiting for you at your pre-selected time between 9:00 and 10:00am..   We incorporate fresh, local ingredients from nearby farms and there’s always something wonderful baking in our own Castle Keep Kitchen.

For an extra special treat, why not add one of our packages (Celebration or Royal Treatment) which include the service for breakfast brought to your room on a tray for one morning of your visit.

The daily breakfast offering is set in advance to give you the opportunity to communicate any special dietary needs. We can accommodate most requests for modifications within the time frame of check in, however, if you require significant changes please let us know prior to your arrival date. While our menu changes frequently, all breakfasts include the following:

Fruit Course: Usually fresh cut fruit or baked compote

Baked Pastry: Scones, muffins, fruit-filled croissants, sweet focaccia bread, or some other baked creation-always prepared fresh from scratch using the best ingredients available.

Main entree: We alternate daily between savory egg dishes such as soufles, fritattas, egg galettes, savory crepes, etc. including fresh herbs, vegetables, and dairy; or sweet(er) offerings such as french toast (always featuring our own sourdough bread,) seasonal pancakes, sweet crepes, etc.

We always use fresh ingredients prepared from scratch in-house. We always include breakfast meats on the side, so vegetarians are easily accommodated.
