Our Allegan Bed and Breakfast Provides Sweet Summer Living

With flowers in bloom and leaves covering the trees, the beauty of summer has returned to Castle in the Country Bed and Breakfast Inn. Take some time out of your busy life and sit Allegan bed and breakfastout in the Adirondack chairs at our Allegan bed and breakfast down by the pond for a view of the rolling hills and fields. Or, take a walk through our trails and head down to the lake to make use of the complimentary paddle boat or kayaks, or just enjoy a glass of wine on the floating dock at sunset.

The wildlife on our 65-wooded acre getaway in Michigan is bound to make an appearance for you during your escape to the countryside. From the white-tailed deer crossing the drive at dusk to the muskrat playing along the pond shore…let nature entertain.

Despite the best efforts of our friendly bullfrogs, the deer flies are a challenge right now along our trails, but with the help of a good hat, some bug spray, and your “Knight in shining armor” to swat away the persistent pests, you’ll find the trails peaceful and inviting as you make your way down to our private 80 acre lake at our Allegan bed and breakfast.

For the ultimate experience, add our Royal Treatment Package and after a relaxing one hour side-by-side couple’s massage, you can take a picnic basket of fresh Allegan bed and breakfasthomemade sourdough bread, warm cookies, and a bottle of wine or sparkling juice out to the screened porch at the lake. After enjoying a romantic dinner at your choice of one of three local “Best of the Best” restaurants (Salt of the Earth, Butch’s Dry Dock, and Food Dance), stop at a local ice cream shop or bring dessert back to enjoy in the Gazebo overlooking the pond.

Take some time to experience the calm, relaxing atmosphere that waits for you at our romantic getaway in Michigan.
